Team Overview

Join as a founding member of the Quality Engineering discipline at Airbase. This role offers ownership and the opportunity to significantly influence quality practices as the company scales.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts meeting organizational standards.
• Build reliable, reusable, and maintainable automated regression suites and test harnesses.
• Create tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing.
• Design and execute test plans and test cases based on specifications.
• Monitor test suite stability and execution.
• Perform exploratory manual testing to support automation efforts.
• Identify and implement best practices for improving software testing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze app functionality and design automated tests validating functional and non-functional requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 3–4 years experience in software testing or development with good understanding of testing, coding, and debugging.
• Self-motivated, proactive in finding and addressing improvements.
• Experience designing and developing automated tests using tools like Selenium or Appium, with exposure to UI, service, and data layer testing plus root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of test planning, test case design, and execution.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, relational databases, and SQL queries.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines.
• Familiarity with load/performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
• Mobile testing experience.
